About Me

Hi, my name is Chris. I’m an IT veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. I’ve spent most of my career specializing in supporting, deploying, architecting, and securing Microsoft core infrastructure technologies on premise, and in the cloud. I’ve also worked with many supporting software partners, such as Citrix and VMware. In addition to my technical work, I’ve been a public speaker, a trainer, and an evangelist.

There’s nothing I love more than helping my customers in finding unique ways to leverage technology to solve challenging business problems the right way. To me, that means as securely and efficiently as possible, in ways that complement existing IT processes. If there’s anything I love as much as designing and securing customer environments, it’s automating all the things. Doesn’t matter if it’s with Robotic Process Automation, Microsoft Flow, IFTT, PowerShell, or something else altogether (PowerShell’s my favorite though)!!

Though I’ve spent a good portion of my career as a consultant, I’ve never been able to learn the sales side of things. I’m an architect and engineer, not a salesman, and I’m ok with that. To me, technology is zeros and ones, and feelings should have no part in it. Don’t get me wrong, I do have some degree of tact, but I’ve never been able to translate that to sales. I’m not the guy that’s going to just tell you what you want to hear, I’m the guy who’s going to help you fix things. My direct nature has gained me both fans and detractors, but it’s part of who I am.
